SYNOPSIS:

The Disenchantment is a tale about the dark side of sisterhood, and about growing up... or not. When aspiring photographer Hazel runs away from a disastrous Christmas and a mother dying of cancer, her lawyer sister Rachel finds her in Prague. Hazel is overjoyed until Rachel's agenda of dragging her home emerges. Their relationship (and Hazel's camera) is shattered. Questions of family obligation, identity, and the price of unconditional love remain unanswered in their disenchantment.

QUOTES

“As two young actresses intensely interested in exploring the breadth of human emotion, they found these potential roles sorely lacking. So they decided to make their own.”
— The Local Dive
The characters (much like their creators) neither the opposite of each other, nor the other’s compliment. They are houses of conflicting ideals.
